We take pride in our safety metrics, which reflect our commitment to a strong safety culture and safety best practices.  

Our Experience Modification Rate (EMR) continues to set us apart. In 2025, we achieved a record-low EMR of 0.53, significantly outperforming the industry average of 1.0.  

Welcome Brandon Svec, GSP - Safety Manager

In February 2025, we welcomed Brandon Svec to the Boland team! Brandon joins us with a bachelor's degree in safety management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. He started his career as a Safety Engineer in a steel mill, which gave him his first hands-on safety experience.

Brandon is responsible for maintaining our culture of safety, promoting best practices within our team, educating associates on proper processes, and ensuring safety compliance. His education and experience have already positively contributed to our organization and strengthened our commitment to safety.
