Thank You From All Of Us At Boland

During times like this, we truly recognize how fortunate our Boland team is to be a part of a such a strong and resilient community. We consider ourselves lucky to have the opportunity to give back to our valued clients, trusted partners, and all who are working to minimize the difficult situation we are in.

To the healthcare heroes keeping our community safe and healthy, from frontline doctors and nurses to behind the scenes technicians and engineers, thank you!

To the data centers for collecting, storing, protecting, and recovering our data while we are so dependent on our online connections, thank you!

To the production workers and our service technicians – who are safely producing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing equipment for climate control and air quality in homes, hospitals, grocery stores, data centers, and other essential infrastructure during this crisis, thank you!

To the teachers for quickly transforming their classrooms to be online, while facility personnel prepare for student's return, thank you!

To the volunteers who are giving blood, donating supplies, making masks, and doing online work to support healthcare workers in the community during this pandemic, thank you!

To the emergency services workers, first responders, farmers, mail carriers, grocery store employees, pharmacists, factory workers, packaging, shipping, and delivery workers, civil service employees, journalists, custodial and sanitation workers, researchers, and government employees, thank you!

For anyone we may have missed, we know you are out there and offer you a sincere thank you for doing your part.

How You Can Help

Follow the Rules

Repurpose a Hobby or Skill

Like to sew? A movement to make masks for hospital workers is in full swing. Cloth masks don’t meet N95 safety standards, but providers may use them if they’re all that’s available. There are a wide range of patterns online.

A Boland associate's daughter is making masks after she heard there was a shortage. She pulled out her sewing machine and when she is not working from home or entertaining her two-year-old son, she is making face masks for the locals that need them! Please reach out if you know anyone in need.

Contribute Food

A D.C. restaurant, Merzi, offers the opportunity to sponsor meals to “front line” heroes: Hospital workers, CVS workers, first responders, etc. This is just one of many fundraisers in the area that is supporting these heroes!

Our team said THANK YOU to our hospital heroes at Inova Fairfax Hospital and Adventist HealthCare by providing lunch for the staff. To all of the doctors, nurses and facility management teams, we are grateful for all you are doing to keep our communities safe and health

Show You Care

Our elderly are very isolated at this time and cannot have visitors. Our Boland Cares team is working to put a smile on their face with a handwritten note or a drawing. If you mail us a note, we will make sure it gets to an elderly person in need of a smile. Get your family involved and have your children draw a picture or write a note.
